Aset Isekeshev
Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Mr.Isekeshev was born in 1971.

Aset Isekeshev is a graduate of the Law Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Higher School of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan.

He started his professional career at the municipal administration of the city of Almaty and the Strategic Planning Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  In 1999-2002 he held various managerial positions in the Ministry of Justice, served as the President of the National Legal Service JSC, President of the National Consulting Group, Vice-President of Corporation “Ordabasy” JSC.
In 2002-2008 – Advisor to the Minister of Economics and Budget Planning, Vice-Minister of Industry and Trade, Deputy Chairman of “Kazyna” Sustainable Development Fund, director for marketing financial products at Credit Swiss (Kazakhstan) LLP.  

From March, 2008 to May, 2009 – Aide to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Starting from May 21, 2009 – Deputy Prime- Minister - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He was elected as a Chairman of the Board of Directors on 21 May, 2009.

Kairat Aytekenov
Managing director-Member of the Management Board of “Samruk-Kazyna” National Wealth Fund

Mr. Aytekenov was born in 1963.

Kairat Aytekenov graduated from the Almaty Institute of Economics and the National School of Public Administration.

From 1993 to 1996 he held a number of executive-level positions in the municipal administration of the Kostanay region.  From 1997 to 2002 – worked in the Strategic Planning Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, and served as a head of the Committee on Environmental Protection.

From 2003 to 2006 – Vice-Minister of Economy and Budget Planning. From 2006 to 2007 – Vice-Minister of Tourism and Sports. Starting from 2007 – Deputy Chairman on co-operation with state bodies and operating activities of “Kazyna” Sustainable Development Fund. To the date – Managing Director-Member of the Management Board of “Samruk-Kazyna” National Wealth Fund.

He was elected as a Member of the Board of Directors on 23 May, 2008.
Ulf Wokurka
Chief Country Officer, Deutsche Bank AG Kazakhstan, Independent director

Mr.Wokurka was born in 1962, citizen of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Ulf Wokurka studied at the Martin Luther University in Halle (Germany). In 1989 he graduated from the Faculty of International Relations at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. In 1990 he joined Deutsche Bank AG in Frankfurt am Main, where starting from 1992 he worked as a manager for servicing of German corporate clients.

In 1993-1994 he was the head of the Representative Offices of Deutsche Bank AG and Morgan Grenfell & Co. Limited in Kazakhstan. From 1996 he worked in London as the manager of the group on mineral resources sector financing at Deutsche Bank.

In 1998 he was appointed a Deputy Director of the Project and Export Financing Department in New York, and later in Frankfurt am Main. In 1999 he became the director of the Frankfurt Structured Trade and Export Financing Division of Deutsche Bank. In 2006-2008 – Deputy Chairman - member of the Management Board of the Kazakhstan Holding for Management of State Assets “Samruk”.

Mr. Wokurka was elected as an Independent Direcotr of the Board of Directors on 13 September, 2007. He is a Chairman of the Audit, Risk Managment and Strategif Planning Committees, member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee.
Kay Zwingenberger
Mr. Zwingenberger was born in 1970, citizen of the Federal Republic of Germany. In 1995 he graduated from the Faculty of International Economic Relations at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. In 1992 he joined Siemens AG in Moscow. In 1998 - 2001 Mr. Zwingenberger worked for Siemens-Elema, Solna, Sweden, where he was responsible for the sales of the electromedical division in Asia and Eastern Europe.
In 2001 he moved to Kiev and was appointed head of the Medical Solutions department of Siemens Ukraine. From 2004 he headed the Medical Solution department of Siemens in Moscow, Russia.

In 2007 he became president and CEO of Siemens in Central Asia.
In 2010 he was elected president of the German economic club (DWK) and board member of the European business association (EUROBAK).
He was elected as an Independent Director of the Board of Directors on 13 August, 2010. Mr. Zwingenberger is a member of the Strategic Planning, Risk Management, Audit and Remuneration and Nomination Committees.



Azat Peruashev
Mr. Azat Peruashev was born in 1967. In 1991 he graduated from Ural State Gorky University, Sverdlovsk specialty: "The theory of socio-political relations." In 1996 he graduated from the President National Graduate School of Public Administration. PhD in Political Science. 1996-1998. - Worked as a consultant, head of the Presidential Administration, in 1998 and 2005. - Held senior positions at AO “Aluminium of Kazakhstan”, from 1999 to 2006 was the first secretary of Central Committee of the Civil Party of Kazakhstan. Since 2006 till present occupies the post of Chairman of the National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan "Atameken Union". Mr. Peruashev was elected as an Independent Director on 13 August, 2010. He is a member of the Risk Management and Strategic Planning Committees.

Sabr Yessimbekov
Director of Investment Projects Department, JSC “Samruk-Kazyna”

Mr. Yessimbekov was born in 1964.
He graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations under USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a major in oriental studies.
In 1993 he graduated the Institute of Oriental Studies of USSR Academy of Science with a master’s degree.
In 1996 he graduated from the Yokohama Institute of Japan State University with a master’s degree in the international economic law.  
1995-2000 - chargé d'affaires ad interim, 1st secretary in the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Japan.
2000-2001 – Adviser to the Director General of “KazTransOil” National Company.
2001-2002 – Director of Projects Management Department, Director of New Projects Department in the national companies of “KazTransOil” National Company and “Transport of Oil and Gas”.
2002-2003 – Deputy General Director of “KazTransOil” National Company.
2003-2006 - Executive Director for transportation infrastructure and service projects, “KazMunaiGaz” National Company.
In 2006-2009 he held various managerial positions in JSC “Samruk”.
Since 2009 he has been working as an Executive Director, Director of Investments Department in JSC “Samruk-Kazyna”.  
Mr. Yessimbekov was elected as a Member of the Board of Directors on 11 December 2010.
Jacek Brzezinski
Consultant for corporate clients, independent director

Mr. Brzezinski was born in 1955, citizen of the Republic of Austria.

Jacek Brzezinski graduated graduated from the Poznan School of Economics in 1979 with a master’s degree in economics. In 1989 he got the title of Doctor of Economics. He also holds a diploma of the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna, including 2-year training in International Business and Finance at ENA (Ecole Nationale d'Administration) in Paris and Escuela Diplomatica, Madrid.

He started his professional career as the Department for Securities and Investment Banking in Central and Eastern Europe at Creditanstalt-Bankverein, Vienna. In 1994-1997 – Head of Representation of the EBRD in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 1997-1999 – Director of the Department for Securities and Investment Banking in Central and Eastern Europe at GiroCredit Ban, Vienna, the Director of Board in Bank Austria Creditanstalt Futures AG, Vienna and London. In 2000-2006 – General Director at B.P. Invest Consult GmbH (BPIC), Vienna. As of today he works as a Consultant for corporate clients.

He was elected as an Independent Director on 10 September, 2008. Mr. Brzezinski is a Chairman of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee, a member of Audit, Risk Management and Strategic Planning Committees.
