Kussainov Nurlan Zhetpisovich
Mr. Kussainov was appointed to Chairman of the Board at Kazakhstan Development Bank, JSC by the Board decision of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund, JSC as of April 9, 2011.

Mr. Kussainov has graduated from Kazakh State Academy of Administration in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 1997 having possessed a degree in International Economic Relations. In 2009 obtained a Master of Science Degree under the Alfred Slowen Program in Silicon Valley, USA. Mr. Kussainov is fluent in Kazakh, Russian, and English languages. Mr. Kussainov was born on December 10 in 1976; married, has two children.

Marat Duisenbekovich Aitenov
Prior to his appointment to the Development Bank of Kazakhstan he held an office of Executive Director – Director of the Legal Department of JSC National Welfare Fund “Samruk-Kazyna”, Managing Director of JSC Sustainable Development Fund “Kazyna”, Managing Director – Member of the Board of JSC National Innovation Fund. In different years he worked at Republican State Enterprise Institute of Economic Research, JSC Center for Marketing and Analytical Research, Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Firm “Asyk-Ata-Gas” LLP. He was awarded the Certificates of Merits of the Minister of Justice, Minister of Economy and Budget Planning for exemplary performance of his job duties and distinguished state service.

Education: Miras University (law), Girne College, Cambridge, UK, Moscow State University after M.Lomonosov (economics and entrepreneurship).

Ardak Siyazbekovich Orumbayev
Mr. Orumbayev joined the Bank in 2010. Previously he occupied senior positions in the banking sector of Kazakhstan: BTA Bank, Temirbank. Has had experience working in financial institutions -  Investment Fund of Kazakhstan, National Innovation Fund for Public Service, and governmental agencies - Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Protection of Competition, Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A graduate of the School of Home Ministry of Kazakhstan on the specialty of Jurisprudence, Karaganda Economical University of Kazpotrebsoyuz majoring in economics. Studied at Yale University, USA, with specialization Advanced Leadership Program for Management.
Supervised direction: legal security of the Bank, legal expertise and legal support for projects, organization and coordination of information security at the Bank.


Zhaslan Hasenovich Madiyev
Mr. Madiyev graduated from the Faculty of International Economic Relations (specialization - international finance), Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Received a Master's degree in economics and finance at Columbia University (New York). Studied under the Presidential scholarship Bolashak. Professional career started in the Alliance Bank, where he headed the department of debt capital markets. Internship at the investment bank Morgan Stanley (London). Worked at Sustainable Development Fund "Kazyna", the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan and National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna", where he headed the Treasury Department. Prior to his appointment to the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, he worked as Deputy Chairman of the Board of "Kazyna Capital Management" JSC, where he was responsible for treasury, finance and administrative activities. 
Supervised direction: organization and coordination of treasury, loans, structured finance, corporate development and corporate governance.


Nurali Rahatovich Aliyev
Nurali Aliyev began work at the Bank in 2008. Serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Nurbank. Previously served there as Acting Chairman of the Board, First Deputy Chairman of the Board, President of AO "Sugar Center". A graduate of the Faculty of Economics of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. Studied at Pepperdine University (USA), International University (Austria), Imadec University International Business School. Holds a Masters of Business Administration.
Supervised direction: representing the interests of the Bank in its major activities in the city and the region of Almaty, organization and coordination of cooperation with the National Bank of Kazakhstan, the Agency on regulation and supervision of the financial market and financial organizations, the Regional Financial Center of Almaty and other government agencies.


Mirzhan Eldesovich Karakulov
A graduate of the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research (KIMEP). Scholar of the International Presidential Program Bolashak, graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University (USA) with a master's degree in economics.

Prior to joining the Development Bank of Kazakhstan Mr. Karakulov worked at "Samruk-Kazyna" National Welfare Fund,  "Samruk" Holding JSC, "Development Bank of Kazakhstan" JSC, National Bank of Kazakhstan in auditing and risk management. Since July 2009 Director of Risk Management Department of the Development Bank.

Currently in charge of organization and coordination of operations, budgetary planning and control, establishing correspondent relationships with financial institutions.


Kilybayev Dauletkhan Azimkhanovich

Dauletkhan has over 10 years experince in financial field, where about 5 years in the CSI financial markets. Before being involved in Kazakhstan Development Bank Dauletkhan has worked in a Vice-President role at Credit Swiss, and in a Deputy Manager role at Renaissance Capital specializing in consulting CSI clients concerning investment and banking operations, provision of debt and structural financing to corporate clients and shareholders of the enterperises.

Dauletkhan Kilybayev has obtained MBA degree in Vanderbilt University, USA, and a Master of Finance degree in Academy of Finance under Administration of Russian Federation in Moscow.

Dauletkhan’s current role includes organization and coordination of the questions concerning working out of a credit policy of the Bank, formation of an advances portfolio, and participation in managing a loan portfolio of the Bank. Organization and coordination of a bankability study process, carrying out and financing of the projects.

Imasheva Aizhan Yessbolatovna
Aizhan Imasheva joined Kazakhstan Development Bank as Managing Director in February 2011. Aizhan has over 10 years experience in the international development institutes abroad and in Kazakhstani state authorities. Her experience in Social Development Department in the main office of World Bank at International Financial Corporation, Washington, DC, USA in the field of private sector development and investments generation into developing countries promotes image of the Bank at the international scale, as well as HR and PR policies of the Bank, and principles of corporate administration. Having possessed a scholarship of Edmund S. Muskie/FSA Graduate Programme, Aizhan had graduated from Boston and Harvard Universities, and obtained a degree of Master of Science in Government Management.
Aizhan's current role includes organization and coordination of work of Human Resources Department, foreign and international relations, optimization of business processes, and miscellenious questions concerning
Seydimbek Zere Akseleukyzy
Zere has worked at Kazakhstan Development Bank since November 2010. Formerly, she held posts of Deputy Chairperson of the Board at Kazakhstan Center of Public and Private Partnership, JSC, Chief Executive Officer of Department of Public and Private Partnership Projects at Kazyna Sustainable Development Fund, JSC. Alternatively, Zere had worked at Center of Marketing and Analytical Study, JSC, and Investment Committee under Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Zere has graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh State National University, The University of Warwick in UK, and Diplomatic Academy under Gumilev Eurasion National University.
Zere’s current role includes management of credit, market, and operational risks; financial, technical, and commercial analysis of investment projects at the stage of approval, monitoring of carrying out of the projects, and appraisal of debtors’ financial state. 


Kunanbayev Yerden Ashirbekovich
Mr. Kunanbayev has graduated from National High School of Government Administration under President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Karaganda Institute of Technology having possessed a degree in Economy and Administration in Machinery. Mr. Kunanbayev has started his professional experience at Moscow headquarter of Turanbank. Alternatively, he has worked as Deputy Gubernator of Zhaksyn District in Akmola Region; at Integrational Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Republic of Kyrgyztan, Russian Federation, and Republic of Tadjikistan; at National Bank of Kazakhstan, JSC; at Kedentransservice, CJSC; and at BankTuranAlem, OJSC.

Mr. Kunanbayev has joined Kazakhstan Development Bank in 2003, held posts of Chief Executive Officer of Project Lending Department, and Managing Director. In 2006, he was appointed to Deputy Chairperson of the Board at BRK-Leasing, JSC, later on he had worked as a Deputy General Director at MetallStroyInvest, LLC for three years. In 2010, he returned to Kazakhstan Development Bank.


Mr. Kunanbayev’s current role includes industrial policy. 
Galym Makhmedzhanov
Galym Makhmedzhanov has been working at "Development Bank of Kazakhstan" JSC since February 2011. He has extensive working experience in the field of consulting, public service, as well as in the financial sector. During his career he had mainly worked on analytical projects for such organizations as TACIS, RK Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Industry and Trade, as well as for other various financial institutions.
A graduate of the School of Mechanics and Mathematics, Kazakh State University in the name of al-Farabi, as well as a recipient of Master's degree from the School of Economics, KIMEP. In December 2010 he has been awarded a Ph.D. in Economics at Toulouse School of Economics, University of Toulouse Capitol 1 (France). In his research he focuses on regional development, as well as on evaluation of public investment effectiveness in developing countries.

Kussainov Bakhyt Oralkanovich

Bakhyt Kussainovjoined Kazakhstan Development Bank in June 2010. Bakhyt has over 10 years experience in banking area and corporate finance. Before joining Kazakhstan Development Bank, he held a post of Managing Director at AliansBank, JSC specializing in crediting and attracting of corporate clients. Formerly, Bakhyt worked as a Manager of Business and Assets Appraisal Group at Delloit TSF, LLC specializing in appraisal of joint-stock capital and assets of major projects in oil and gas and metallurgical fields, as well as assets of real estate sector. Alternatively, he worked at major European banks such as ABN AMRO and CityBank specializing in credit analysis and structuring of debt financing of major corporate clients in oil and gas and metallurgical sectors, as well as financial and management accounting.

Bakhyt has graduated from Kazakh State Academy of Administration having possessed a degree in International Finances. He’s possessed MBA degree in The University of Wisconsin, USA. Bakhyt has obtained a Bolashak Schollarship.
