In DBK round table with independent experts took place

On 14 December, 2009 in JSC Development Bank of Kazakhstan (hereafter - Bank) round table “Actual questions of interaction of Development Bank of Kazakhstan” with independent experts took place.

In the work of round table leading independent companies in the field of business-consulting, including furnishing the services of marketing and engineering researches, evaluation of securing, legal support, as well as the represantatives of registration service of Committee and rendering legal assistance of Department of Justice of RK, representatives of commercial banks took part.

During round table active conference about the extension of cooperation of Bank with specialized organizations, which render the services of marketing development’s, technical development, securing estimation, as well as legal evaluation of projects, took place.

The representatives of companies told about several topical proposals for the improvement of Bank’s requirements for external evaluation, the interaction scheme of main participants of projects’ bank expertise – Bank, project bidders and independent experts.

Particularly the participants of round table made one decision about the necessity of:

- development and approval at legislative level methods and standards of the definition of property’s hypothecation value;

- development and approval by Bank document, which regulates the volume and operation procedure of independent expert companies, including exact criteria of <depth> of investigations;

- further improvement of interaction scheme of main participants of projects’ bank expertise by the conclusion of trilateral treaty;

- creation of active feedback between Bank and independent experts concerning project status and the quality of granted reports;

- implementation of practice of reports presentation in Bank by independent expert companies in accordance with results of made analysis;

- and so on.

Bank expresses thanks to all participants of round table for given recommendations, and considers the carrying out of this event as one of real contribution of Bank to establishing and development of domestic market of business-consulting services.
