In this respect, the Bank, being a professional participant of the capital markets, according to the Law on the Development Bank of Kazakhstan is competent to provide investment banking services along with direct financing. In particular, the Bank provides financial consulting and underwriting services, which can help fully satisfy the demands of potential clients.

At present in Investment Banking the Bank offers the following range of products:

- assisting in receiving credit ratings from S&P, Moody’s, and Fitch (rating advisory services);

- organizing an Initial Public Offering on international stock exchanges for the Bank’s clients, including carrying out analysis of a company’s opportunities and financial statement analysis, arranging all the necessary legal and financial documents, and assisting in passing the listing procedures of the international stock exchanges;

- arranging syndicated loans, including selection of investors, preparing all the legal and financial documentation;

- organizing bond issues on both domestic and foreign debt markets and underwriting, including market analysis, arrangement of the necessary certification, carrying out the procedures necessary for listing on stock exchanges.

Financial Consulting

Financial Consulting services of the Bank include:

1. Arrangement of the documents necessary for registration and placement of an issuer’s securities;
2. Co-operation with the Agency on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Markets and Financial Organizations (AFC), Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), Regional Financial Center Almaty (RFCA) concerning the registration and listing of the client’s bond issues;
3. Consulting on the structure and features of prospective security issues.

Underwriting

The Bank offers underwriting services for the clients planning a bond issue, including:

1. Entering into negotiations with potential investors;
2. Organizing of sales on the domestic stock exchange;
3. Market-maker services (issue of quotations).
