AgromashHolding KZ JSC is the first enterprise in Kazakhstan that has signed the agreement on the industrial assembly to increase localization at the plant. Yet today you can see a positive result – 60%, one of the highest rates on a nationwide scale. However, according to the representatives of the company, this is not the limit. At the 7th year of production, it is planned to increase the range of operations, in particular, to switch to the solid production of blanks, including welding, bending, cutting, painting the feeder house and the conveyor to it, the cabin, etc. The introduction of such innovations will make the production process more technological and also increase the available localization by several times.
It is notable that the theme of local manufacturing content of agricultural machinery has become particularly prevailing after the recent speech of the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Roman Sklyar, when he stated the need to introduce the utilization fee to stimulate domestic production. Indeed, experts have repeatedly voiced the opinion that Kazakhstan should have its own agricultural machinery — at least in key positions. In this regard, the representatives of AgromashHolding KZ JSC, the largest agricultural machinery manufacturing enterprise in the republic, do not lose momentum. By the end of this year, it is planned to produce more than 400 units of combine harvesters by ESSIL brand, more than 300 units of trailed and mounted equipment and about 250 units of tractors of the middle drawbar category. Today, the company annually produces about 45% of the harvesters from the entire market. The plan is to increase production to 1.000 combine harvesters per year.
The plant is actively working to improve cooperation and search for new opportunities to increase the market. In April of this year, the company reached an agreement with Petersburg Tractor Plant JSC, in particular, the parties signed a roadmap for the implementation of the project called Organization of Kirovets brand tractors and the production of their components at AgromashHolding KZ JSC.
The corresponding agreement has already been signed on the basis of our company. Now we are working on the issue of project implementation, we are discussing the issue of cooperation for the localization of spare parts for Kirovets tractors with a view to the participation of Kazakhstani manufacturing plants in the general chain of production processes",
Let us recall that the modernization and increase in capacity of the enterprise became possible thanks to the support of the Development Bank. DBK is a partner of AgromashHolding KZ JSC in two directions at once: restoration of capacities of Kostanay diesel plant and creation of a network of service centers for maintenance of agricultural machinery, as well as expansion and modernization of service centers for the sale and maintenance of agricultural machinery.
