In particular, Makinskaya Poultry Farm LLP, which specializes in the production of chilled and frozen poultry meat under the brand "Kus&Vkus", continues uninterrupted supply of poultry meat to the capital. It is noteworthy that it is possible to maintain high sales rates in the conditions of strict quarantine measures applied by the Government of the Republic.

"Production at the Makinskaya Poultry Farm in the Akmola region is not idle, it works normally, as we understand that there can be no delays in deliveries to the capital, especially during the state of emergency. Company has committed to providing one thousand tons of non-reduced meat residue to create a reserve for the duration of the state of emergency. Logistics has been established, for this we have prepared in advance all the necessary documents and permits for the passage of the “green corridor” to the capital,” shared the Director General of Aitas KZ JSC Serik Tolukpayev.

According to the company's representatives, the organization takes a responsible approach to ensuring the sterility and cleanliness of production, as well as the safety of its employees, especially during the spread of the pandemic. At the moment, Makinskaya Poultry Farm has tightened the standards of biological and sanitary safety. The management decided to maintain the previous mode of operation of the poultry farm to prevent a decrease in production volumes. Despite the current situation in the economy, the price of products remained at the same level. Moreover, the company's employees monitor the situation with the cost of products of Makinskaya Poultry Farm LLP on the market. This decision is more related to the desire to provide our compatriots with a high-quality product of local production and maintain the public's trust in our brand "Kus&Vkus", which has already won the hearts of customers, especially in the capital. Makinskaya Poultry Farm also successfully sells products to the markets of Akmola, North Kazakhstan, Kostanay and Karaganda regions and Almaty.

As we know, the first stage of the Makinskaya Poultry Farm was launched in 2018 with the support of a major development Institute — Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (DBK, a subsidiary of Baiterek Holding), which specializes in implementing large-scale projects in the Republic to diversify the national economy and support the regions. DBK allocated 16.1 billion tenge for the construction of the first stage of the poultry farm, for a period of up to 10 years. Note that the project is funded under the SPIID-2. Two years later, the poultry farm managed to become the main city-forming enterprise in Bulandyn district of the Akmola region, which gave a positive impetus to the development of related businesses in the region.

Now the construction of the second stage of the poultry farm is in full swing, the completion of which is scheduled for the end of this year. With its commissioning, it is planned to increase production to 60 thousand tons, and the number of jobs will be expanded from 950 to 1300 people. To date, the company has not only successfully closed all obligations to DBK (by the way, DBK in February this year opened another credit line for the construction of the second stage of the poultry farm within the framework of SPIID-2, the loan amount was 14.3 billion tenge, for a period of 10 years), but is also able to support compatriots in the fight against the pandemic.

"Makinskaya Poultry Farm is one of the illustrative examples when projects financed by the Bank make a significant contribution to the development of regions, create new jobs, pay tax deductions to the budget, thereby ensuring the growth of the economy of the regions and the country as a whole, as well as, importantly, provide import substitution. The company's management has shown a brilliant result in organizing production, thus there is a need to build the second stage of the poultry farm, the financing of which the Bank will also support" - said the Chairman of the Management Board of DBK Abay Sarkulov.

Serik Tolukpayev, the head of Aitas KZ JSC, also added that the organization, which is one of the largest production companies in the agricultural sector, is ready to share its management experience in crisis conditions with other businessmen. This is why COVID-19 is currently being quarantined to help entrepreneurs on the site https://aitas.kz materials that will help businesses systematically respond to the challenges associated with the pandemic and the collapse of oil prices are available in the public domain.
