In order to minimize and eliminate the negative impact on investment projects financed by DBK due to changes in the national currency and the Covid-19 pandemic, the Bank has currently developed and approved an Anti-Crisis Plan, under which the following measures are envisaged.
1. For projects financed or administered by the Bank, as well as those classified as at risk, the following measures are envisaged:
- for projects funded in the national currency, the issue of restructuring loans will be considered, which implies a change in the repayment schedule of the main debt and interest, an increase in the terms of the loan, as well as maintaining the current interest rate.
- for projects financed in foreign currency, the possibility of converting a loan will be considered, subject to the provision of concessional funding from the Government, and the issue of transferring payments, partial development of the credit line balance as part of the need and canceling the undeveloped balance will be considered.
2. A watch-list of projects has been formed that require the necessary measures to be taken in the event of an increase in the negative impact of external factors and requiring enhanced monitoring.
3. In order to reduce collateral requirements for funded projects, the Bank initiated amendments to the collateral policy and other internal acts of the Bank,
4. The possibility of financing projects using new financing tools:
- attracting second-tier banks to co-finance market investment projects;
- syndicated financing of DBK investment projects in conjunction with STBs and other lenders, with the participation of DBK as the organizing bank.
