Guest lectures by representatives of Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC were held at Nazarbayev University and Maqsut Narikbayev University.
Welcoming participants of the event, Chairman of the Management Board of DBK, Marat Yelibayev, noted that this meeting gives students opportunity to get acquainted with the Bank's activities, funded projects and learn about the prospects of employment and internship in one of the leading financial institutions of the country.
Members of the Board of Directors - Marcia Favale, Independent Director of DBK, Aizhan Mendebayeva, Chief of Staff, Dina Zhanadil and Zhanat Ansaganova, Managing Directors, Aliya Tynybayeva, Director of the Human Resources Management Department, also delivered a presentation at the meeting and spoke in detail about mission of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, development of ESG direction, structuring and analysis of transactions, as well as internship terms in the Bank.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of lively communication, students asked questions actively and expressed interest in topic of the guest lecture, receiving practical advice and recommendations from the Bank representatives.
It is worth to note that the Bank has been recruiting young specialists for internships and practical trainings throughout the year, and provides equal opportunities to applicants for vacant positions. Both specialists with a diploma of higher education and work experience in specialized fields, as well as students of higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan, may complete internships and practical trainings at DBK. In 2024, more than 60 young specialists completed internships and practical trainings at the Bank.
It is noteworthy that many of the trainees who completed successfully all stages of the program continued their career at DBK, becoming part of the team.
