The Development Bank of Kazakhstan held a traditional town hall with its employees to celebrate National Currency Day and the professional holiday of the employees of the country's financial system. Top managers of DBK congratulated their colleagues on Financiers' Day, summarized preliminary results of the outgoing year, outlined plans for the future and assessed development prospects.
In the 9 months of 2024, DBK increased its equity capital to KZT958 bln (+8% to 2023), assets grew to KZT5,194.6 bln (+21%), net profit amounted to KZT120.5 bln. In 10 months, 44 projects worth KZT1,224 billion were financed, including 39 projects in the manufacturing industry worth KZT924 billion and 5 infrastructure projects worth KZT300 billion. In comparison, 42 projects worth KZT748 billion were financed during the same period in 2023.
In addition to financial indicators, the meeting presented the projects implemented in 2024, the results of the employee loyalty assessment, the product approach and the Bank of Ideas initiative.
For their significant contribution to the development of the Bank and the economy of Kazakhstan, a number of employees of the DBK and the IDF were awarded letters of appreciation on behalf of the Head of the Bank – Marat Yelibayev.
