During the meeting, representatives of the Bank thoroughly covered a number of key issues, including trade finance and treasury operations, practical experience and effective strategies for the recovery of non-performing loans, innovative methods of interaction with debtors, and the optimization of the processes of debt enforcement.
"DBK has developed a multi-level, systematic strategy that combines legal, analytical, and operational recovery tools. Practice has shown the high effectiveness of this integrated approach at all stages – from pre-trial procedures to bankruptcy and the potential initiation of criminal proceedings against debtors", said Tulegen Baimoldin, Head of the Non-Performing Assets Department.
The Bank’s practice of recovering non-performing debt combines legal, economic, and analytical tools, with a focus on efficiency, transparency, and strategic flexibility. Thanks to the Bank’s timely measures, DBK maintains one of the lowest levels of non-performing loans in Kazakhstan’s financial sector, with NPLs accounting for less than 1% of the total loan portfolio.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding and strengthening further cooperation, including through experience exchange and the implementation of joint educational and research projects.
