The modernization of the plant was completed at the second semester of 2020, today the enterprise has been successfully launched and produces petrochemical, oil and gas, heat power, drilling, air-cooling, and complex technical equipment. The production volume of the enterprise is more than 2,000 tons of products per month. For 10 months of 2019, AtyrauNefteMash produced 229 tons of products, for the same period in 2020 - more than 222 tons. Despite the pandemic, the company managed to maintain its results. This year, the company paid 319 million tenge taxes to the state, for the same period of 2019 - 290 million tenge. The company produces a wide range of products: pressure vessels, columns, reactors, heat exchangers, heating furnaces, metal structures, tanks for storage, and transportation of oil products. All the products are produced in accordance with ASME, API, and GOST standards.
AtyrauNefteMash has a convenient geographic location for supplies. Sales markets for products fall on such companies as Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc, CNCEC, TCO, COC, KPO, MangystauMunayGas JSC, ANPZ LLP, KPJV, Sinopec, PetroKazakhstan Inc, PSNK, BI GROUP, KazMunayGas JSC and Maersk Oil Kazakhstan, GmbH. The plant is preparing to release the first products for export which is pressure vessels ordered by a German company.

With the assistance of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, we carried out extensive modernization and launch of a new hot-dip galvanizing and grating production workshop, which today, due to the introduction of modern and technological equipment, allows us to provide high-quality products not only to the western region but also orders from neighboring countries. " - noted the vice-president of ANACO LLP Gaukhar Zheksemaliyeva.
The cost of modernizing the project amounted to 15.2 billion tenge, DBK allocated 9.5 billion tenge for the modernization of the plant for a period of 14 years. ANM's own participation is 5.8 billion tenge. The project was funded under the State Program of Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015-2019.

The plant launched new workshop that produces gratings and a hot-dip galvanizing products. The grating workshop is the only one in the country and produces high-quality products in compliance with international norms and standards. The versatility and high strength of the gratings make it possible to use it not only in the oil and gas industry but also in the chemical, forestry, metallurgical, and many other industries. Mesh decking used in architecture, design, construction of observation decks, flyovers, and platforms, ramps, and flyovers at enterprises.
The versatility and high strength of the gratings produced in the new workshop make it possible to use it not only in the oil and gas but also in the chemical, timber processing, metallurgical, agricultural industries, as well as in civil construction. Such decking is used in the architecture, design, construction of observation decks, flyovers, and platforms, ramps. The hot-dip galvanized coating, when used in the most aggressive environments, can last up to 50 years, fully retaining its protective properties, which will allow it to be used in fields, where the content of sulfur and acid is high. The gratings can withstand heavy loads, they are safe and slip-resistant. Also, they are environmentally friendly and economically viable; therefore, they do not need to be repainted annually.
The hot-dip galvanizing workshop thanks to the automated line allows galvanizing 60 thousand tons of products per year of any complexity and configuration. Hot-dip galvanized steel is used in the oil and gas, petrochemical, agricultural, mining, communications and energy, transport, and food industries. The hot-dip galvanized coating, when used in the most aggressive environments, can last up to 50 years, fully retaining its protective properties.
“Thanks to our joint project, we managed to increase the level of Kazakhstani content in the manufacture of sophisticated high-quality equipment, and increase production volumes. It is important for us that we have modernized our enterprise on favorable terms of project financing provided by the Development Bank, understanding the specifics and importance of our products for the country's economy,” said Alexander Donskov, General Director of AtyrauNefteMash LLP.
In addition to the new workshop, as part of the modernization of the enterprise, it's own testing, and mechanical laboratory was updated, and a new chemical laboratory was built and accredited.
Moreover, the unique Finnish equipment has been acquired, which allows, in a short time and with minimal human participation, to make unique products, pressure vessels, allowing the production of pressure vessels with a diameter of up to 12 meters, weighing about 1,500 tons and a length of more than 120 meters. For comparison, earlier it took about six months to manufacture such products with the involvement of 150 workers/hour, and now - no more than 1.5 months and 20 specialists/hour. In total, the company employs 350 people.
