In total, 15 journalists from republican and regional media took part in the competition. All of them provided information materials about the Development Bank and its large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects throughout the country, published in print media or Internet resources and aired on TV channels from May 31 to December 1, 2021. By the way, the jury members considered applications from the journalists of the TV channels "Khabar 24", "Qazaq TV", Atameken Business Channel, newspapers and Internet portals "Capital" ("Капитал"), "Egemen Kazakhstan", "Kursiv", "Informburo.kz", "jarialike .kz "," toppress.kz "," turaninform.kz "," inbusiness.kz "," Business Kazakhstan "and others.
Arsen Askarov’s work, journalist of the "Capital" ("Капитал”) publication (118 points), was recognized as the "Best Interview" during the voting of the jury. The winner in the nomination Best Report became a blogger Yakov Fedorov (120 points), who presented a material about the Turgusun small hydroelectric power plant with a capacity of 24.9 MW in the East Kazakhstan region, which was financed by the Development Bank of Kazakhstan. "Best Material in the Media" provided by Yuriy Masanov, journalist of the publication "Kursiv" (121 points). In the special nomination "For active and competent coverage of DBK activities" the winner was Saida Zharkinova, journalist of "Business Kazakhstan" (117 points). In the competition, she provided material on the work of the ferroalloy plant of Qaz Carbon LLP in Karaganda. It is worth noting that the management of the Development Bank highlighted the work of Nurbolat Amanzholov, chief editor of the “Informburo.kz” portal as a special nomination "Audience Award".
"There are always interesting projects in DBK, which I want to tell my compatriots about. For 10 years of my work, I have visited almost all enterprises financed by the Development Bank and I am glad that my work on the Turgusun HPP was noted by the jury members," shared Yakov Fedorov.

The materials were assessed according to such criteria as the relevance and significance of the topic, the completeness of the disclosure of the material, the style and originality of the presentation. The jury of the competition included Asel Karaulova - President of the Kazakhstan Press Club, Bibinor Tanelbaeva - Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Editor of MIA "KazInform", Elena Preobrazhenskaya - Chief Editor of IA "Interfax-Kazakhstan", as well as representatives of DBK.
To recall, the competition "Creating the Future with DBK" was launched on May 31, 2021 to familiarize the public with the results of the Bank's activities, develop competencies among media employees in the preparation and publication of materials on state support for non-resource sector enterprises, corporate financing, stimulating activity, developing professional cooperation and creative competition among journalists.
