Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (a subsidiary of «Baiterek» NMH) has been awarded a number of awards from the Association of Financial Institutions for the Development of the Asia–Pacific Region (ADFIAP). The award ceremony took place within the framework of the 47th annual meeting of ADFIAP in Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia. DBK was represented at the event by Anna Zagoskina, Chief Manager of the Department of Funding and International Cooperation.

ADFIAP – a non-governmental organization with consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council. Its activities are aimed at promoting sustainable economic, environmental, social development and growth in the region. It includes about 90 financial institutions from 38 countries in Asia and Oceania.
According to the decision of the ADFIAP Award Board, DBK was awarded in the category «Environmental Development» for the investment project for the construction of the ERG Green sludge processing plant in the city of Khromtau. This project will improve the ecology in the Aktobe region by recycling historically accumulated waste from the Donskoy Mining and Processing Plant (part of TNC «Kazchrome» of the ERG Group).
In addition, the Bank received special awards in the categories «Best Website» and «Best Sustainability Report».
