Chairman of the Board of “Baiterek” Holding Kanat Sharlapayev introduced the new head of the Bank's executive body to the DBK staff, noting his extensive experience in the financial sector.
“Ruslan Viktorovich has more than 18 years of experience in financial institutions, of which he has been fruitfully heading KazakhExport for six years, and from today he has been appointed as the head of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan. I want to highlight that this is the principle of meritocracy in action: a person who successfully worked in the banking market and within the Holding has now reached one of the highest positions. I expect that you will support him and successfully work in cooperation,” said Kanat Sharlapayev.
Ruslan Iskakov was born in 1980. In 2003 he graduated from the Shakarim State University of the city of Semey with a qualification of economist-manager.
From 2004 to 2006, he worked as an employee of the Risk Management Department of Kazkommertsbank JSC.
From 2006 to 2008 - Head of the Project Risk Analysis Department of the Risk Management Department of Kazkommertsbank JSC.
From 2010 to 2011 - Head of the Corporate Clients Department at SB Sberbank of Russia JSC.
From 2011 to 2014 - Deputy Director of the Major Clients Department of SB Sberbank of Russia JSC.
From 2014 to 2015 - Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of IC KazExportGarant JSC.
From February 2016, he held the position of Chairman of the Management Board, member of the Board of Directors of EIC KazakhExport JSC.
He also holds unpaid positions, being a member of the Board of Directors of QazTrade Trade Policy Development Center JSC, a member of the Board of Directors of Baiterek Venture Fund JSC and First Vice President of the Kazakhstan Chess Federation.
