In total, more than 110 annual reports of Kazakhstan companies, including 35 financial organizations and 69 non-financial ones, were evaluated during the competition this year.
In the shortlist for the "Best annual report in the financial sector" category, the nominees were such large companies as Baiterek, KazAgroFinance, and ForteBank. The main selection criterion was the degree of transparency as a key indicator of the level of corporate governance. When determining the best of the best, all annual reports issued in Kazakhstan were also analyzed, with the main emphasis on content. In other words, the documents with the most complete and high-quality disclosure of information were selected.
In the category "Best design of the annual report", DBK was the leader among such companies as Fortebank JSC and Air Astana JSC. The winner was selected by an independent jury consisting of design experts who evaluated the quality of the information presentation.We are proud that the work of the entire DBK team is appreciated.
