By the decision of the Board of Directors of Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (a subsidiary of National Management Holding «Baiterek» JSC, hereinafter referred to as DBK, the Bank) dated December 20, 2023, Amangeldy Issenov was appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Board – a Member of the DBK Board. He will supervise the organization and coordination of credit activities.
Mr. Issenov graduated with honors from the Karaganda Metallurgical Institute with a degree in «Economics and Management at Enterprises of Metallurgy» and also obtained an MBA degree from Almaty Management University.
He embarked on his career path in 2000 as a chief specialist in the credit management department of the State Borrowing Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Subsequently, he worked at the Small Business Development Fund and held managerial positions in private companies.
Starting from 2008 to 2017, he worked at the Ministry of Finance as the head of the department, deputy director, and director of the budget lending department. Then, until 2022, he held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Eurasian Development Bank. From August 2022 until his appointment to DBK, he worked in private structures.
He has been awarded the medal «Yeren yengbegi ushin» (For Merit to the Fatherland) and the breastplate «Excellence in Financial Service».
