DBK presented financing instruments at the Central Asia Warehouse Summit

Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (a subsidiary of Baiterek Holding, hereinafter – DBK, the Bank) together with Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC took part in the Central Asia Warehouse Summit (CAWS 2025) held in Almaty.

The summit became a key industry platform in the segment of warehouse real estate in Central Asia, bringing together leading international and domestic experts to discuss current trends, challenges and the future of warehouse infrastructure, logistics and trade development.

During the panel discussion “State Support: Myth or Reality?” Assemgul Kussainova, Senior Banker at the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, presented DBK as a key financial institution authorized to implement state investment policy.

She elaborated on the Bank’s role in financing large infrastructure and industrial projects, highlighted DBK’s priority financing areas, and outlined the core criteria used in the selection of investment projects.

“DBK is interested in investment projects focused on the development of the country’s transport and logistics sector. Their implementation contributes to Kazakhstan’s strategic goal of becoming a leading regional transit hub, as well as boosting connectivity across regional markets and strengthening the nation’s export potential. The Bank offers a wide range of financial instruments, including direct, syndicated and project financing, and is ready to consider support for projects that meet DBK’s key selection criteria,”
said Assemgul Kussainova.

The discussion also brought together representatives of major Kazakhstani and international financial institutions and companies, including Römer Capital (USA–Uzbekistan), Eurasian Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, DAS Family Office (Singapore), IBC Global (France–Kazakhstan) and others.
