Atyrau Oil Refinery is the first company in Kazakhstan to produce fuel with a record low freezing point. The Altay-45 diesel, produced at the Prime D 3205 diesel hydrotreater of the deep refining complex, is distinguished by a minimal sulphur content and lacks additives, which makes it consistent with the quality of arctic diesel fuel. The new product meets the environmental requirements of class K5.
Moreover, according to the company's representatives, Atyrau Oil Refinery's gasoline has received REACH certification and now meets EU standards - the product has undergone a full quality assessment procedure for chemicals and blends intended for import to the European Union market. This is an important step in the development of export opportunities for the Kazakh enterprise.It should be noted, that production of high quality low-temperature diesel fuel, as well as products with high added value, has largely become possible due to a large-scale modernization of the enterprise, which was supported by Develepment Bank of Kazakhstan.
