Botagoz Abisheva in her new position will oversee the organization and coordination of work with international investment banks, investors, creditors of the Bank, as well as manage and control the activities of DBK on budget planning and accounting policies, operational activities, establishing correspondent relations with financial institutions, strategy and corporate development, public relations.
Botagoz Abisheva was born on September 2, 1976. In 1993-1997 she studied at the Kazakhstan Institute of Law and International Relations (KILIR) with a degree in International Law. In 2013-2014, she continued her studies at the Kazakh University of Economics, Finance and International Trade, specializing in finance, where in 2018 she already received a Master's degree in Economics. In 2020-2022 she graduated from Renmin University of China, IMBA (Beijing, China).
Botagoz Abisheva has extensive experience in the banking sector, she began her professional career in 1998 in the international department of Bank TuranAlem. In the period from 2003 to 2007, she held the position of Banking Director - Deputy Head of Representative Office and Head of Representative Office of Bank TuranAlem in Beijing, China. From 2007 to 2010 she worked as Head of the Financial Institutions Department at ICICI Bank Eurasia, Moscow, RF.
Botagoz Abisheva has been working at DBK since February 15, 2010. During her work at the Bank, she has gone through a career path from the Deputy Director of the Department of Funding and International Cooperation to the Managing Director.
It should be noted that Botagoz Abisheva replaced the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of DBK Dmitryi Babichev, whose powers were terminated ahead of schedule by the Decision of the Board of Directors of the Bank dated February 25, 2022.
