“This project is key in the field of metallurgy, it is investment attractive, and more relevant than ever, since it meets the main objectives set by the country's leadership - the development of domestic exports and the expansion of existing sales markets. The products manufactured by “YDD Corporation” LLP are 100% export oriented. At the same time, it is worth noting that the share of Kazakhstani content in the production will be more than 94%,” said Erlan Nigmatulin, the founder of “YDD Corporation” LLP.

The main volume of ferrosilicon, which is one of the most important elements in the production and alloying of steel, is planned to be delivered to Russia, Turkey, South Korea, the USA and the EU countries. The project has an important social effect, the plant will create more than 350 new jobs at the first stage. In the future, with an increase in the capacity of the plant, more than 200 jobs will appear. It should be noted that the factory installed the latest technological equipment, the operation of which requires a high specialization of employees. It also needs to be highlighted that the financing of the project was started only last year. The founders and the management of the company ensured not only the high-quality construction of the plant, but also the commissioning of the plant on time. The plant was built in record time of 1 year and 11 months,”

- said Abay Sarkulov, Chairman of the Management Board of DBK.

Great attention during the construction of the plant is paid to the environmental component of the project, in particular, the gas cleaning system, which will provide a high degree of air purification from industrial dust with its further processing into silica fume - a component that is used in the construction industry for the production of high-quality cements.

“The peculiarity of the implementation of this Project is the use of the latest global technological developments of the production cycle, for example, the level of gas purification of the Plant is 99,8%. The leading world companies, experts in the field of engineering and high-tech industry from Sweden, Denmark, Turkey, China, Georgia, Russia and Kazakhstan, took part in the construction of the Karaganda ferroalloy plant”, said Dinmukhamed Baizhanov, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Ordabasy Group.
