The second stage assumes increase in production capacity from 25 to 56 thousand tons of meat per year. The poultry farm added four broiler plots with 12 poultry houses each, and also equipped it with incubator, fodder, poultry processing plant , meat and bone meal.
Today the poultry farm produces broiler chicken meat, semi-finished products and by-products from poultry meat, the products are in great demand among the population. Representatives of the poultry farm noted that the increase in capacity is another contribution to import substitution of the country and increase in the consumption of chilled meat by the population. The total sales of the Makinsk poultry farm in 2021 will amount to more than 85,000 tons of chicken meat products. It’s 22% of consumption volume of the RK.
The main consumers of the farm's products are residents of Pavlodar, East Kazakhstan, Akmola, Karaganda, and North Kazakhstan regions. To increase the geography, in 2021, the Almaty and Kostanay regions will be added.

The state supports us in terms of investment subsidies and subsidies for products. First stage investments amounted to 33.5 billion tenge, where DBK's participation was 16 billion tenge, the borrower's own participation - 17.5 billion tenge. The second stage cost 14.6 billion tenge, own funds – 3.4 billion tenge and 11.2 billion tenge borrowed from DBK. The project was funded under the SPIID-2.
“Makinskaya poultry farm is the main town-forming enterprise of Bulandy district and makes a significant contribution to the development of the region, providing jobs for the local population, paying tax deductions to the budget, and it is also important to note that the poultry farm products can replace imports, which will be significantly reduced due to the launch of the second stage. The project is illustrative example and contributes to the development of the food industry in Kazakhstan,” said Asel Shitenova, senior banker of Customer Service Department of DBK.
Makinsk poultry farm uses technologically advanced equipment from international manufacturers and meets European standards. Moreover, the production meets the requirements for a humane attitude towards live poultry and the Halal recommendation standards. The commissioning of a new line not only increased production volumes, but also created 570 new jobs for residents of nearby districts. In total, the company employs 1,435 people.
